Benelli’s Motobi 200 Evo is a readymade rival to the Bajaj Avenger

Earlier this month at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), Chinese owned Italian motorcycle manufacturer Benelli revealed the Motobi 200 Evo cruiser motorcycle. With Benelli returning to India with a vengeance and looking at smaller capacity motorcycles to push forward in the market, the Motobi 200 Evo could be an option for the Italian marque. The Benelli Motobi 200 Evo unveiled in Indonesia features a stealthy urban cruiser design opting for blacked-out design elements instead of making them from reflective chrome.

The Benelli Motobi 200 Evo features classic cruiser design cues including a round headlight, raised handlebars, a low slung and comfortable saddle that tapers over the rear fender and a slightly long wheelbase. The Motobi 200 Evo also features a unique single pod digital instrument cluster and a taillamp that pops up just behind the seat. The Benelli’s design is simple and pleasing to the eye and should help the motorcycle manufacturer keep costs down.
